The eco-friendly PLA filament PolyTerra PLA+ Orange was developed by Polymaker using a technique called "Fully Bio Compound (FBC)", which combines PLA (a biodegradable polymer made from corn starch, beet, and wheat) with organic minerals. This PLA+ version improves layer adhesion with 27% more bonding between layers and 29% greater strength compared to standard PolyTerra.
If you're looking for a cost-effective or ecological PLA filament, or both, PolyTerra™ PLA+ is definitely your top choice. Moreover, when used as a support material, PolyTerra™️ PLA+ Orange can be easily removed.
The PolyTerra PLA+ filament is suitable for everything from simple prototyping to finished decorative pieces or accessories.
Great value for money: this filament delivers high quality for under €20 per kilo.
Strength: PolyTerra PLA+ Orange features enhanced mechanical strength and improved layer bonding compared to standard PolyTerra.
Eco-responsibility: manufacturer Polymaker partners with ONETREEPLANTED to plant one tree for every spool of PolyTerra sold.
Recycled spool: both the spool and the packaging of PolyTerra PLA+ Orange are fully recycled for minimal environmental impact.
Finish: give your prints a unique look with the more satin finish of PolyTerra PLA+ Orange.
PolyTerra PLA+ Orange is compatible with all 3D printers on the market, in both 1.75mm and 2.85mm formats.
We recommend setting your printer to an extrusion temperature between 190 and 220°C to print PolyTerra PLA+ Orange under optimal conditions. A print speed between 30 and 70mm/s and a heated bed between 25 and 60°C are also advised.
If your printer uses a direct drive extrusion system, a retraction distance of 1mm at a speed of 30mm/s is recommended. For Bowden extruders, use a retraction distance of 3mm and a speed of 60mm/s.
