Forshape Black Resin is premium quality yet economical. This 3D printing resin is specially developed for use with DLP and LCD light sources. It offers excellent technical and aesthetic features for a budget-friendly resin.
The quality and composition of Forshape Black Resin provide a Shore hardness of 88D, low shrinkage, and reduced odor. It is 4K compatible, allowing you to print accurate models with high detail and a smooth finish.
High detail level: Forshape photopolymer resin is designed to reduce volume shrinkage during curing, ensuring high model accuracy and a smooth surface finish.
High resistance: This standard resin has a Shore hardness of 88D, giving it solid technical properties for standard use.
Low odor: The formulation of this resin helps minimize irritating smells during printing.
For LCD 3D printers with monochrome screens, the bottom layer exposure should be 25 to 50 seconds, and the exposure time for each layer should be 2 to 4 seconds. Simply adjust according to the desired layer height and keep other settings unchanged.
Place the printed model in the cleaning tank of your post-processing station and fill it with 99.9% Isopropyl Alcohol (minimum 95%). Clean the part for a few minutes. Rinse with water before drying, and ensure it is 100% dry to avoid Black spots or cracks over time.
The curing time depends on the model's size and the optical power of your curing device. On average, exposure takes 15 to 30 minutes. Don’t forget to use fresh air to dry the part after post-curing.
You can place your parts in water during post-curing to reduce deformation, especially for figurines and jewelry.
Shake well before use. Wear gloves and a mask when handling. Not for oral consumption. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, rinse immediately with water and consult a doctor if necessary.
Store resin between 15°C and 35°C. Lower temperatures increase viscosity. Keep the bottle sealed and protected from dust and moisture, which can affect print quality. Store away from sunlight to avoid premature curing from UV rays.
