The White ABS filament from the PolyLite series, developed by Polymaker, is a high-quality ABS filament with a minimal content of fine particles (VOC) to reduce harmful risks.
Ideal for prototypes or functional parts, this ABS has a glass transition temperature of 100°C, which means it can be used in environments where heat resistance is required.
Easy to handle when following the recommendations (closed chamber, glue for bed adhesion, etc.), it delivers precise and reliable prints thanks to Polymaker’s 8-step quality control process.
This White ABS is ideal for producing parts requiring good mechanical strength and for functional prototyping.
Lower toxicity: PolyLite White ABS 1kg emits fewer odors and fewer VOCs than standard ABS.
Low price: This ABS filament offers an excellent quality/price ratio considering the technology used.
Excellent print quality: This Polymaker ABS 3D filament offers outstanding mechanical properties, especially in terms of strength. It is among the strongest impact-resistant materials after PolyMax PC and PolyMide Copa.
PolyLite White ABS is compatible with all open 3D printers on the market, whether in 1.75 or 2.85mm.
3D printing PolyLite White ABS requires an extrusion temperature between 245 and 265°C, a heated bed between 90 and 105°C, and a print speed of 30 to 50mm/s.
We strongly recommend using a closed and filtered chamber and a professional 3D printer to obtain parts without warping while ensuring a certain level of safety.
To achieve smooth surface parts, there are two options. Either manual sanding of the 3D part or using acetone, which chemically acts on ABS. As acetone handling can be dangerous, another alternative method is using PolySmooth with IPA.
This latter method is the one we recommend if you need functional prototypes with a smooth surface finish.
