The Forshape Grey resin is Premium quality while remaining cost-effective. This 3D printing resin has been specifically developed for use with DLP and LCD light sources. It offers very good technical and aesthetic properties for an economical resin.
The quality and composition of the Forshape Grey resin provide a Shore hardness of 88D, low shrinkage, and reduced odor. It is 4K compatible and allows you to obtain precise models with a high level of detail and a smooth finish.
High level of detail: Forshape photopolymer resin is specifically designed to reduce volume shrinkage during the curing process, ensuring high precision and a smooth surface finish.
High strength: This standard resin features a Shore hardness of 88D, providing solid technical properties.
Low odor: The formulation allows for a light smell and limits irritating odors during printing.
For LCD printers with a monochrome screen, bottom layer exposure time is 25 to 50 seconds and exposure time per layer is 2 to 4 seconds. Simply adjust exposure times according to the desired layer height.
Place the printed part in the wash tank of your post-processing station and fill it with 99.9% isopropyl alcohol (minimum 95%). Clean for a few minutes, rinse with water and dry completely, as residual alcohol may cause white marks or cracks over time.
The curing time of the printed model is proportional to the size of the part and inversely proportional to the optical power of the curing chamber. On average, exposure time ranges between 15 and 30 minutes. Remember to use fresh air to dry parts after post-curing.
You can place parts in water during post-curing to limit deformation, especially for figurines and jewelry.
Shake well before use. Wear a mask and gloves when handling. This product must not be ingested. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with water as soon as possible. Otherwise, consult a doctor promptly.
It is recommended to store the resin at a temperature between 15°C and 35°C. The lower the storage temperature, the higher the resin viscosity. The bottle must be sealed and protected from dust and humidity, which can affect print quality. Keep the resin away from sunlight, as UV light can cure photosensitive resin.
